Leicestershire-based Evance Wind Turbines have been manufacturing and supplying small wind turbines for more than ten years.
Previously known as Iskra Wind Turbines Ltd, the company was formed back in 2000 by a team of engineers experienced in the development of large scale wind turbines. They re-branded as Evance in 2009 and launched the Evance R9000, the next generation of small wind turbines.
With an extensive network of installers and resellers stationed around the world, the company prides itself on delivering reliable and efficient solutions which are designed to produce maximum energy yield.
Their latest product, the R9000, has been installed all around the world, assisting schools, farms, homeowners and businesses to become productive producers of green energy.
Did you know?
- The Evance R9000 was the first wind turbine under 10kW to be fully certified under the Microgeneration Certification Scheme.
- In April 2011, Evance launched its North American programme to strengthen the company’s international network.
- Its turbines have been installed on two of the Orkney Islands located off Northern Scotland.
- The Iskra AT5 was the company’s first mass-market produced wind turbine, which was launched in 2004.
